A Call To Intercession

The king of Israel sent to the place about which the man of God had told him; thus he warned him, so that he guarded himself there, more than once or twice. 

Now the heart of the king of Aram was enraged over this thing; and he called his servants and said to them, “Will you tell me which of us is for the king of Israel?”

One of his servants said, “No, my lord, O king; but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the words that you speak in your bedroom — II Kings 6:10-12

When the enemies of God’s people plotted and planned evil things against them, He often times revealed those strategies to His people through the prophetic anointing. His goodness continues to reveal key insights essential for our well-being.

A Prophetic Warning

On the morning of April 26th, I had a dream in which I was given insights and initiatives for prayer. In the dream I was taken into a hospital where three young girls took me by my hands along with two other men. They wanted us to pray with them for their parents not to be taken by a spirit of death.

Immediately following that, I was transported outside the hospital. There was a presence in the dream that I believe to be an angel of notable authority assigned to us for this battle. He was with me to show what was approaching the hospital.

As I looked up I saw a cloud of darkness called the “spirit of death”. I saw the face of the Heavenly presence with me and he spoke to the cloud of death and declared, “Halt”. Following that directive, I then pointed to the cloud of darkness and said, “No.” The cloud stopped moving and did not proceed any farther.

When I awoke from the dream I felt a strong inclination to discuss the dream with Bob Jones. Therefore, I whispered a prayer for the Lord to have Bob call us if I was to share it with him. Within a couple of hours our telephone rang and it was Bob; with that affirmation I knew the dream was from the Lord.

Interestingly, Bob told me he had a similar dream the previous night. He saw a cloud of “fog” coming with the enemies desire to attack people with high fever and sickness. This plot would be especially dangerous for those 50 and older.

In his dream Bob touched the foreheads of the people afflicted to discover they were very hot. He then began to rebuke the demonic “fog” of sickness and told the people to drink an abundance of cold water.

Clearly, this is an evil strategy that we have authority over through the blood of Jesus. However, it is also being revealed through two witnesses so that we can become aware of it and release intercession as a counter strategy. We must cry out now with a corporate voice and say, “NO”. In the dream I was shown that when two come together and declare “Halt” and “No” the cloud of darkness will be stopped.

Naturally, these things are revealed by the Holy Spirit so that we as people of prayer can release God’s authority with precision to overcome enemy strategies. Christians should not be gripped with fear over the many news reports of various illnesses and sicknesses permeating this age. We are simply to be mobilized and armed with the revelation of God’s Word. We ask you to please begin to pray with us.
