The Shepherd’s Rod 2007

This is the Day the Lord has Made

This is the day which God hath made; We will rejoice and be glad in it – Psalms 118:24

The revelations of this year’s Shepherds Rod will begin to unveil a specific and unique day that God has prepared. This is a day of destiny that the Lord has made!

We have crossed a threshold in heavens time-line. The Bible calls it the “fullness of time.” The apostle Paul in his epistle to the Galatians stated,

But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” Galatians 4:4-6

The central theme of these revelations highlights our present position in modern church history and our prophetic destiny in God. We are biblically promised a generation who will do the “greater works.” (John 14:12) These will be the “sons of the Kingdom” who carry the Sevenfold Spirit of God that rested upon the Lord Himself in His perfect example of a Son of the Kingdom.

This is a day in which many promises will be apprehended and divine destiny achieved. Over the past several years there have been messages of preparation sounded as a clarion call to the bride of Christ to prepare for the coming battle. Those individuals who have heeded this call and allowed the sifting and pruning process will begin to emerge with considerable anointing and authority. For them, this will be a day of substantial advancement.

The following outline will highlight many of the areas that will be emphasized during this season.

This is the Day -21 Proclamations

At the outset of the Day of Atonement revelations, Bob audibly heard twenty-one specific proclamations that provide an outline of God’s plans for this season. It seems that each promise is set before us as a specific decree to apprehend destiny for those who have yielded to the preparatory process.

Each of the twenty-one items relates to previous articles and admonitions that have been released to prepare us for this day. Throughout biblical history we can see God’s hand taking His servants through various trials and character molding journeys.

The design is to bring them out on the other side with the revelation of His nature. Though the passage may at times seem difficult, it is for our benefit in order to steward faithfully God’s provision. The time for the apprehension of promises is now upon us.

1. This is the Day of Lights

The Bible clearly outlines that every good and perfect gift comes from the Father of Lights. God is Light and in Him there is no shifting shadow. Consequently, we are likewise called to be light in the midst of a dark generation.

It was by His own will that he gave us birth as “sons of the Kingdom” by His Word of Truth. We are designated to be a form of first fruits of His creation and a representation of what the “sons of the Kingdom” are called and consecrated to be.

Through his epistle to the Ephesians, the apostle Paul admonishes us to conduct ourselves as children of light. He said,

Therefore do not be partakers with them; for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth, trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord — Ephesians 5:7-10

The surest evidence of the “children of Light” and God’s true leadership will be the clear presence of the fruit of the Spirit. God’s righteousness will begin to reflect the Spirit’s nature in our lives. The display of His character in us is ultimately pleasing to the Lord and the reflection of His Light that we must possess.

In a previous prophetic word we outlined the mark of the “sons of the Kingdom” as highlighted in Matthew 13 saying,

The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man, and the field is the world; and as for the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom….the harvest is the end of the age; and the reapers are angels – Matthew 13:37-39

If we are to be the “light”of the world, we will possess qualities consistent with “sons of the Kingdom” and children of light by allowing Christ to be fully manifested in us. The identification, anointing and purpose of this company who overcomes are listed below.

Their Identification-The manifestation of the Fruit of the Spirit – Galatians 5:22-24

1. Love
2. Joy
3. Peace
4. Patience
5. Kindness
6. Goodness
7. Faithfulness
8. Gentleness
9. Self-Control

Their Anointing– The Seven Spirits of God- Isaiah 11:2

1. Spirit of the Lord
2. Spirit of Wisdom
3. Spirit of Understanding
4. Spirit of Counsel
5. Spirit of Might
6. Spirit of Knowledge
7. Spirit of Reverential Fear of the Lord

Their Purpose – To reveal the twelve names illustrating the divine character of God and His primary redemptive attributes manifested in the Person of Jesus.

1. Lord Our Shepherd
2. Lord Our Provider
3. Lord Our Righteousness
4. Lord Our Peace
5. Lord Our Healer
6. Lord Our Banner
7. Lord Who Sanctifies
8. Lord Of Hosts
9. Lord Most High
10. Lord Who Smites
11. Lord of Recompense
12. Lord is Present

2. This is the Day Cities that Welcome the Heavenly Realm will Have a Great Light over Them.

The Lord is indicating His desire to restore through His church, His original mandate for man and fully heal the breach that has existed since man’s fall in the garden. Our cities will reflect Heaven’s light only to the degree that the saints within them do so.

You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your
Father who is in heaven —Matthew 5:14-16

One of the primary strategies to win our cities is through unity of the brethren. If the Lord can find just a few willing to live together in harmony with a common cause of advancing God’s Kingdom, then He will pour out a special anointing of grace and favor that will illuminate our dwelling places. We will have unity to the degree that Christ is formed in us.

When this takes place we will then carry the battle to enemy gates and invade our cities with the ministry of restoration and awakening. We will help those who once experienced failure find their rightful place in the body of Christ. We will also retrieve those of our brethren who have fallen and begin to rejuvenate them into a new walk with Christ while also rescuing the unbelieving from the snare of the evil one.

City gates spoken of in the Bible were symbols of power and authority. Occupying city gates depicts a realm of authority to be delegated to believers who walk in the Lord’s light. They will begin to emerge with the spiritual wisdom essential for this responsibility. This occurs when the eyes of our hearts are enlightened with the spirits of wisdom and revelation promised in Ephesians 1:17-18.

In Genesis 22:17 God promised Abraham that his descendants would possess the gates of their enemies. From this symbolic pledge, we will see many leaders carrying away the “gates”of the enemy that withstand God’s purposes in various cities. This will result in notable expressions of spiritual outpouring and “revival.” Those cities will have great “light” over them leading to spiritual awakening.

3. This is the Day that Saints who are Crying out to God Continually will Become Light.

The Lord recently expressed His desire to deal with the strongholds in us so we can deal with the strongholds in our churches, cities and nation. The Holy Spirit spoke to me in a meeting and said “If the people will allow Me to remove the stumbling-blocks within them, I will then remove the ones before them.”

God’s people are called to be the repairers of the breach and restorers of streets and dwellings. Isaiah 58:12 declares,

And those from among you will rebuild the ancient ruins; you will raise up the age-old foundations; and you will be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of the streets in which to dwell

In order to do that effectively in our cities, the Lord is sending “angels that gather” out His Kingdom all things offensive to Him so that He can reflect His Light through us. Our churches and cities will exhibit Heaven’s Light to the extent that the righteous within them do so. The Lord promised that,

The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then THE RIGHTEOUS WILL SHINE FORTH AS THE SUN in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear – Matthew 13:41-43

The Bible tells us that the Kingdom on Heaven is within us. The righteous will shine like the sun in the Kingdom of our Father when the tares and stumbling blocks have been extracted from our soul. Light dispels the darkness of our soul as He lights the candle of our innermost being.

In a previous Shepherds Rod we wrote of the Lord’s desire to cloth us in His light. For the believers who have responded to this invitation, there is going to be a wonderful impartation of illumination and spiritual radiance released.

We wrote that the Lord clothes Himself in light as with a virtuous garment to depict His great authority in Heaven and in creation. We are likewise called to be endowed with the raiment of light that proceeds from Him. We are summoned to be the light and salt of the earth.

The pure white light of Heaven will proceed from the Throne to be imparted into the spirit and soul of the Lord’s people to make us divine carriers of His virtue. Many will encounter the Lights of Heaven in private worship and in corporate settings in amplified ways over the coming months and years. This Light will manifest as the Sevenfold Spirit of God in the same way that pure white light directed through a prism highlights the seven colors of the spectrum.

It pleases the Lord for us to embody His Light. When we lead the life as one “native-born” to the Light, we enjoy the fruit or effect of that Light consisting of kindness, uprightness of heart and truth.

This is the day that individuals will begin to walk in the light of revelation they possess. There must be an experiential quality to our walk with the Lord. Not only do we experience Him in a tangible way, but also in practical ways that exude the spiritual Light that has been deposited within us.

This is the model for the lost to be drawn to the Kingdom of Light; then the masses will be drawn to our light and fulfill the prophecies of Daniel when he said,

Those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever – Daniel 12:3

We have now crossed a threshold into the place where we begin to do what we have for so long talked about. This is especially true in the Western Church. This is the day of Lights or the day that people began to walk in the Light of Heaven.

The Patriarchs Job once conveyed his longing for,

the days when God watched over me; When His lamp shone over my head, and by His light I walked through darkness; As I was in the prime of my days, when the friendship of God was over my tent – Job 29:2-4

Job expressed the desire of many in this generation. This is the day that the Lord’s lamp of divine favor will shine over us. It will be by that “light” that we walk through this dark generation and enjoy friendship with God. This positions us with priestly garments necessary for our call to minister to Him in the beauty of holiness.

4. This is the Day that the Blind Can Cry out to God and Receive Their Sight.

We as a generation have come to a “fullness of time” crossroad in God’s plan of progressive restoration. We are assigned the ministry of recovery and reconciliation and the next installment is at the door. It will be marked by notable expression of power with emphasis on the recovery of sight to the blind. It will take place in the natural to indicate a spiritual reality. Matthew 9:29 says,

Then He touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith and trust and reliance [on the power invested in Me] be it done to you. Amplified

The job of the righteous will be to redeem that which the enemy has stolen and re-dig wells that once flourished with God’s healing virtue. The Lord is going to touch blind eyes and execute the recovery of sight both naturally and spiritually.

We will especially be called to recover and heal those who have been wounded in the church. The “blind, lame and halt” are to be revitalized by those developing in righteousness; thereby retaking ground previously relented to the enemy.

Even the gifts of the Spirit that have been stolen or perverted by the enemy will be redeemed during the coming year and years to follow. The righteous must begin to restore all of these things the enemy has successfully stolen or perverted within the church, especially the ministry of healing.

5. This is the Day that Those who Seek Understanding From a Place of Meekness will be Taught by the Holy Spirit.

Highlighted revelatory truth is being set before us through words that are not taught by human wisdom, but by the Holy Spirit. It is the consolidation of spiritual truth with spiritual language in and through those possessing the Spirit of Understanding. There are corporate and personal messages proceeding from God’s heart relative to our destiny and position in Heaven’s economy. Paul said,

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words -1 Corinthians 2:12-13

Having the understanding that the Lord is grooming us for something significant transforms our mind-set and generates hope to displace hopelessness. Without this comprehension we would indeed experience profound hopelessness and despair. A double portion restoration and return is our legacy.

Our council is to cooperate with heaven and do only what we see the Father doing and say only what we hear Him saying. The Lord is opening our eyes and ears with the Spirit of Understanding so that our discernment is taken to greater levels to accomplish this purpose.

There has been a sifting of our soul and the establishment of contrition, humility and meekness in order to carry greater levels of power and authority. The Spirit of Understanding will bring illumination to this reality and mobilize God’s people for this great task.

Kindness and truth are indispensable ingredients necessary in God’s formula to awaken this generation. The Holy Spirit has been punctuating this reality in recent days. If we embody and convey the Lord’s meekness we will also share in His power; if we share in His obedience we will also share is His resurrection

6. This is the Day Intercessors Have Been Waiting for. They Shall go to Their Knees and God will Answer Them.

The Spirits of Wisdom and Revelation entrusted to us have been unfolding spiritual blueprints and strategies for this day. Many intercessory groups and ministries have seen these outlines and sown revelatory prayer for their fulfillment. The prophetic day they foresaw is now upon us. This day will be like the one Ezekiel spoke of saying,

Son of man, what is this proverb you people have concerning the land of Israel, saying, “The days are long and every vision fails”? Therefore say to them, “Thus says the Lord GOD, I will make this proverb cease so that they will no longer use it as a proverb in Israel.”

But tell them, “The days draw near as well as the fulfillment of every vision. For there will no longer be any false vision or flattering divination within the house of Israel. For I the LORD will speak, and whatever word I speak will be performed. It will no longer be delayed, for in your days, O rebellious house, I will speak the word and perform it,” declares the Lord GOD ” — Ezekiel 12:21-25

Over the past season many prophetic proclamations and decrees have gone forth. However, we have seen little in the way of significant fulfillment. However, that trend is now changing.

As it was with the prophecies of Ezekiel, so shall it be today. No longer will the proverb be spoken that the visions linger and their fulfillment is delayed. We will now begin to see a more sure word of prophecy emerging that will be accomplished.

The scriptures plainly points out, the Lord ever lives to make intercession on our behalf and if there was ever a time to draw near to God, it is this generation. The Lord is continuing to ask the church to join Him in His heart of intercession for this prophetic generation. When we do, our prophetic decrees will be more accurate because they are generated from the Lord’s heart. He will put a word in our mouths to,

Pluck up and to break down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant. The word of the LORD came to me saying, “What do you see, Jeremiah?” And I said, “I see a rod of an almond tree. Then the LORD said to me, “You have seen well, for I am watching over My word to perform it – Jeremiah 1:10-12

7. This is the Day that Blind Will See and Deaf Will Hear for Themselves and Accomplish the Things the Lord Has Appointed for Them to do.

This declaration has both natural and spiritual implications. Clearly we are living in a day when miracles, signs and wonders are an essential aspect of our New Testament heritage. As in the early church, God’s healing power and extraordinary exploits provide Heaven’s validation necessary to meet the great needs of the masses.

Our message must be confirmed with the miraculous to be most effective. This is outlined in proclamation 4. However, the greatest application will be the spiritual awakening of God’s people to receive spiritual eyes to see and ears to hear. We must alleviate the mistakes of the past and recognize our day of visitation.

After 40 years of governing the people of Israel while in the wilderness, Moses came to the end of the journey and provided a revealing discovery that prohibited that generation from entering the promise. He admonished them with a rehearsal of the great and awesome deeds and demonstrations of the Lord’s power performed in their midst. Nonetheless, Moses also pointed out a sad reality- that generation did not receive the promise because, he said,

To this day the LORD has not given you a heart to know, nor eyes to see, nor ears to hear – Deuteronomy 29:4

What a great lesson for us to learn in our day. Although we can witness notable expressions of spiritual power and authority, that in itself is not enough. It remains essential for us to receive an impartation from the Holy Spirit to possess eyes & ears open to His truth and hearts of understanding.

Without that spiritual endowment, we cannot enter the fullness of the promise. Not only do we have an inheritance in Him, but He also has an inheritance in us. Our spiritual eyes & ears must be opened to facilitate that union

The apostle Paul once prayed that the eyes of believers would be illumined with spiritual understanding. He prayed,

To the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him, By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints – Ephesians 1:17-18

It is an important spiritual mandate to have enlightened eyes to see where we are presently placed in human history and the unfolding of God’s redemptive plan. Equally as important are gifted eyes that can see ahead to our prophetic destination. From this perspective we can set our sights on the goal of our faith, as well as recognizing the snares and traps of the enemy intended to hinder our ability to get there.

On one unique occasion the prophet Elisha, who had spiritual insight as to where he was and where he was going, boldly stood before the armies of the king of Aram. He could do so because of the spirit of wisdom and revelation that rested upon his life. When his servant nervously recited what his natural eyes were seeing, the prophet prayed, “O LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” And the LORD opened the servant’s eyes and he saw; he behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha

With that prayer, an impartation of spiritual sight was given to the servant. Through that blessing, he discovered with his spiritual eyes, the armies of Heaven and chariots of fire that surrounded God’s servant. (2 Kings 6:17-18)

With spiritual vision, fear is replaced with faith and a comprehension of the reality that there are more for us than for the enemy. Nothing changed in this scenario except the vision of Elisha’s servant. Without question, his faith level soared. His countenance and courage was not merely based upon the things his natural eyes were seeing, but now his spiritual eyes provided clarity to the entire picture.

8. The Day That Many “Stiff-Necked” Christians will Learn to Bend Their Neck to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

“O Adonai, if I have found favor in Your eyes,” he said, “then let the Lord (Adonai, the Angel of Covenant, the Messiah) go with us. Although this is a stiff-necked people, forgive our wickedness and our sin, and take us as your inheritance.” – Exodus 34:9

According to the commission given to Moses, supernatural signs have a “voice.” There is a message that accompanies the signs. The message is one of restoration of God’s covenant people to a place of spiritual prominence and submission to the lordship of Jesus Christ. We become “stiff-necked” when we insist on our own way and allow our plans and agenda to usurp the Spirit’s leadership.

In every age, God’s spiritual voice that is validated by signs and wonders always calls that generation back to the lordship of Christ. This was especially true during the Latter Rain revival as numerous ministers admonished the church to relinquish their personal agendas and programs to embrace intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit.

Moses had a face-to-face friendship with the Lord. That exchange facilitated the apprehension of His desire for complete leadership of God’s covenant people. When we in this generation discover that place of friendship, we will also understand more fully how the spirit of anti-christ has infiltrated the church with a counterfeit anointing that usurps the Spirit’s leadership.

The book of Revelations calls it the “spirit of the Nicolaitans” that ventures to overshadow God’s aspiration to release total liberty in the church and mobilize His people into a priesthood of believers. That trend will change as we become more discerning of His presence and walk more intimately with Him.

We become “stiff-necked” when we insist upon our own plans and agendas and fail to embrace His. Grace is being offered to relinquish that mind-set along with the wonderful opportunity to participate with the Lord in His plans. This union is where true spiritual fruitfulness will be generated.

The generation who exited Egypt under the leadership of Moses missed their door of opportunity and wandered 38 years as a result. In many ways, that could accurately depict the generation that participated in the Latter Rain revival of the 40’s and 50’s. Nevertheless, change is upon us. We recently wrote about this transition outlining that the leadership of Moses has ceased and now the leadership of Joshua will emerge.

Joshua – The Overcoming Anointing

The last 120 years of spiritual activity has functioned in the order of Moses. Clearly, Moses was one of the greatest men of God who ever lived. His intimate friendship with the Lord set a standard we aspire to today. Even so, the totality of his original mandate was not fully achieved in his lifetime.

Moses brought the people out of Egypt under God’s mighty hand of power through miracles, signs and wonders; but, that generation did not cross over into their destiny because of their “stiff-necked” condition. According to Deuteronomy 29:4, they did not possess the revelatory anointing essential to co-operate with God.

Their eyes and ears were not opened and their hearts were not devoted to the revelation of Heaven’s plan. As a result, they were disqualified and a season of discipline ensued.

Nevertheless, the next generation emerged with spiritual hunger and desperation that captured Heaven’s attention and positioned them for their inheritance. That is the same model we have followed over the last century.

Naturally, that is not to point a condemning finger at the saints of the prior generation. Clearly, there was a remnant of very godly people who recognized their day of visitation and openly embraced it. Even so, a prudent analysis of history reveals that the corporate church as a whole did not embrace the open door opportunities set before them to cross spiritual Jordan.

According to John G. Lake’s analysis in 1925, “the people were more captured by the phenomena of God than the Person.” That mistake was made during the early 20th century and repeated in the ’50s. For the 21st century generation to cross over in a Joshua anointing, it will likewise require God’s great-grace for walking intimately with Him, along with a thorough understanding of the lessons learned from past achievements and failures. Hebrews 13:7-8 declares,

Remember those who led you, who spoke the word of God to you; and considering the result of their conduct, imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

This biblical admonition requires that we remember and be constantly mindful of those who have gone before us. Furthermore, we are to consider well and observe accurately the end of their lives. This examination positions us to imitate their faith. In so doing, the Lord will do through us what he did through them by mighty expressions of His power and authority, because He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

The Lord promised Joshua that He would walk with him as He did with Moses. Our assurance is the same. As the Lord accompanied the mighty champions of the last century, so also will He be with us. Even so, what we do may appear totally different. Joshua’s accomplishments were distinctly different from those of Moses.

It was to point the people to their inheritance and initiate desire and tenacity to press in to Him for the grace to become the overcomers who retrieve from the dominion of the adversary the “land of promise” that rightfully belongs to God’s people and the lordship of Jesus.

9. This is the Day that Spiritual Discernment Shall Increase in the Body of Christ to Know and Recognize Truth from Falsehood.

With a fresh word from the Lord there is an equally important need for increase in our measure of discernment. History has proven that each major juncture in God’s time-line is met with a deluge of voices. However, the Lord promised that His sheep will know His voice. He said,

When he puts forth all his own, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. A stranger they simply will not follow, but will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers – John 10:4-5

The Lord comes with miracles, signs and wonders to validate a message that is firmly rooted and grounded in the written word. God’s people are often captivated by the signs and wonders but only a remnant captures the message. This trend must be reversed in this hour. The early Church model prayed that the Lord would,

grant that Your bond-servants may speak Your word with all confidence, while You extend Your hand to heal, and signs and wonders take place through the name of Your holy servant Jesus – Acts 4:29-30

Truth is the seal of God. The Spirit of Truth will guide us into all truth and thereby eliminate all forms of deliberate falsehood and hypocrisy and that message will be confirmed with Heaven’s affirmation of the miraculous.

The Holy Spirit worked with the early disciples with sign and wonders to confirm the message of God’s Kingdom. To us a measure of grace is being allotted to quicken our spirits for receptivity to that message. A supernatural hunger is provoking us to move beyond cold formal religiosity to pursue relationship with Him. To even possess this desire is God’s gift.

10. This is the Day Many Minds shall be Delivered from the Stupor and Gloom that Hangs over their Heads like a Dark Cloud.

It is fundamentally essential for the spirit of stupor to be extracted for us to begin to see with spirit eyes. The Apostle Paul said,

Even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God – 2 Corinthians 4:3-4

Our adversary has worked diligently to release the “spirit of stupor” over the western church. This diabolical scenario blinds our eyes and shields our ears to spiritual truth. It shields us from the glory of Christ that depicts the perfect image of God and promotes a sense of satisfaction to simply live in a justified state without being incited to greater depths in Him.

A “great light” will be offered to those who have formally known darkness and gloom. Much like the promise given to the land of Zebulun and Naphtali, the people who walk in darkness will see a brilliant light and He will make the end of the age a glorious season. (See Isaiah 9:1-2)

Our directive is to create an atmosphere for people to personally encounter the Lord and also address issues of the soul that have kept us from divine destiny. The Lord is expressing His desire to release a revelatory realm that allows people to obtain a vision of destiny and the “hope of our calling” that dispels hopelessness and gloom. Paul said,

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words – 1 Corinthians 2:12-13

Personal rendezvous’ with the Lord delivers us from gloom and stupor by allowing hope to permeate our hearts with visions of destiny and the importance of this generation. We then endeavor to lay aside every encumbrance and entanglement that has hindered us in the past and motivate us to move on to God’s high calling.

11. This is the Day that the Saints who have Watched their Words will Bring Forth the Good things of God; Their Mouths shall be like Honey from the Rock.

In this season God’s people must learn to deal with unresolved anger and bitterness over past failures and disappointments. These are the primary issues that cause our words to be spoken from a wrong spirit and detrimental to others and ourselves. For those who have learned this lesson, notable advancement will be achieved in their walk with the Lord. They will be entrusted with exceptional increases in anointing and authority.

If we are harboring anger or bitterness for any reason, we must take that to the cross and ask for the grace to be released from its grip so our discernment will be clear and unimpeded. If we desire the Lord’s Mercy we must also be willing to extend mercy and forgiveness. In these days, we will live in large part by the fruit of our own lips.

A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth; from the produce of his lips he shall be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit – Proverbs 18:20-21

12. This is the Day that the Spirit of Religion Shall Become too Hard for Many People to Walk in it. They Shall Seek Grace and Find it in the Holy Spirit and it Will be an Easy Walk.

The religious spirit is so closely akin to the Holy Spirit, the Lord announced, it would deceive the very elect IF POSSIBLE. That is a sobering warning granted to us in Matthew 24. Nevertheless, there is an unseen force compelling many believers out of complacency or rigid religious formality…it is divine destiny. Something has been imparted into the spiritual DNA of this generation that rejects the “lukewarm” laodicean spirit that has so subtlety deceived many.

It is God’s grace that allows spiritual awakening to recognize the distinction between these two spirits. The religious spirit introduces into the Church the spirit of the world nullifying the Grace of God. The views of Truth necessary to purify the church are not such as the world gives, but are such as are communicated by God’s Spirit. This spirit will attempt to lead the Church away from the reality of God expressed in the Book of Acts. During the later years of his life, John G. Lake received a powerful angelic visitation. In this encounter the angel opened the scriptures to the Book of Acts saying, “This is Pentecost as God gave it through the heart of Jesus. Strive for this…contend for this…teach the people to pray for this. For this, and this alone will meet the necessity of the human heart and this alone will have power to overcome the forces of darkness.”

As the angel departed he admonished Bro. Lake insisting, “Pray, pray, pray…Teach the people to pray. Prayer and prayer alone, much prayer, persistent prayer is the door of entrance to the heart of God.”

Believers who pursue the Lord with honest and sincere hearts will begin to recognize the spirit of religion more definitively as the counterfeit of the true anointing that should rightfully be embraced by the Lord’s people. Many of the counterfeit spirits operating in the church will become increasingly less effective and revealed as a thief. A clear line of delineation is going to be drawn in these days. It will become much more discernable who truly serves God and who does not. This will begin the days prophesied by Malachi when he said,

Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, and the LORD gave attention and heard it and a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the LORD and who esteem His name. They will be Mine,” says the LORD of hosts, “on the day that I prepare My own possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him. So you will again distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him — Malachi 3:16-18

Truth from the book of Acts will be utilized to lay the axe to the root of the religious tree so the emerging, anointed tree of Life can become more clearly visible.

13. This is the Day for Those Who Have Been Faithful in a Few Things Will be Entrusted With Much More.

The man who goes forth to do his work and faithfully labors until evening is considered the righteous laborer and entrusted with greater power and authority. This season will produce righteous and faithful people who will be endowed with greater measures of faith and broader dimensions of authority because of their trustworthiness.

Great-grace exceeds “common grace” and God has promised to give this favor to the humble. (1 Peter 5:5) Much of this season has been intended to cultivate humility in a body of people. These will be God’s champions to whom notable mantels of revelation and power will be entrusted during the coming days.

The Lord is looking for the humble and contrite. As the prophet Isaiah recorded,

Thus says the LORD, “Heaven is My throne and the earth is My footstool. Where then is a house you could build for me? And where is a place that I may rest? For My hand made all these things, thus all these things came into being,” declares the LORD. “But to this one I will look, to him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word — Isaiah 66:1-2

The ones who are lowly and tremble at God’s Word will begin to experience divine intervention from Heaven’s host. Our faithfulness to the anointed Word will uniquely prepare us for this specific hour in human history and qualify us for greater measures. It will literally be the fulfillment of Hebrews 1: 7. God’s ministers will be ignited as a flame of fire, and fueled by angels who are winds.

14. This is the Day That the River of Compassion Shall Come Forth out of Those Who have Learned to Love.

All sincere saints of God want to here those special words, “well done My good and faithful servant.” However, many may be surprised at the criterion that merits such a wonderful response from the Lord. Although witnessing the miraculous in our ministry or giving accurate prophetic words or seeing the desperately sick healed are all wonderful exploits, they are all considered gifts of God exercised according to His will.

Our greatest endorsement from the Lord will come when we learn to love. That is the reality of Christ being formed in us. For those who discover that place in God, a special release of His healing power will flow through them like a river. Compassion is the key to God’s heart that unlocks wells of healing.

The importance of learning to love was marvelously illustrated in Bob’s truth life experience when he stood before the Lord in a death experience. Our adversary endeavored to eliminate the prophetic gift entrusted to Bob with an attempt on his life on August 8, 1975. On that day an aneurism erupted in Bob’s abdomen and his earthly life was temporarily interrupted. When he passed from the natural realm to the eternal, many things were revealed to Bob. I have written about a portion of them in Books of Destiny.

However, for the purpose of this Shepherd’s Rod, I will pickup the experience as Bob stood before the Lord with three other people who has passed away at that same moment. The three of them quickly ascended toward a great Light that embodied the door of Heaven. He was the fourth in line and watched as they proceeded towards the Light that was above them. The prominent Light they saw was the Lord Jesus Himself, present to greet the new arrivals.

The first in the line was a young 11-year-old girl who was filled with the love of God. It had been her lot in life to lie on her sickbed suffering from a terminal disease. The fact that she was not healed does not diminish our faith in God’s healing power one ounce. That is part of God’s mystery to be more fully understood when He comes in His justice.

Nevertheless, this young lady utilized her time on earth to express Heaven’s love through prayer and intercession for others. She entered the gates of glory with great reward. The Lord asked her, “Did you learn to love?” There was a resounding “YES” and she entered His heart to abundant blessings.

The next woman in the line to be embraced by the Lord and enter Heaven’s gates was a heavy black sister. She was surrounded by a large number of angels. Bob asked the angel of the Lord standing to his right why she had so many ministering spirits with her. He was instructed that she had been an evangelist on the earth. The messengers assigned to her co-labored in her ministry.

As she prayed and interceded for the salvation of others, the ministering spirits would be commissioned to go to those for whom she was praying. They were empowered with the mandate and authority of heaven released through her prayers to bring that individual into the Kingdom. Great was her reward also. The Lord asked, “Did you learn to love?” Again, a hearty yes and she passed into His heart.

The next lady standing directly in front of Bob was a 93-year-old woman with the appearance of having been crippled with arthritis. Because of the hardships and failures that occurred in her life, the gall of bitterness had entered. She maintained her love for God. Unfortunately, she was not able to express God’s love to others. The root of bitterness had defiled her soul. Though she entered heaven as her eternal home, she carried no fruit or victorious testimony as her reward.

The Lord asked, “Did you learn to love?” She responded that she loved Him but that was all. She had not learned to love others. In that place it is impossible to lie. The only answer she could give was the truth. She entered but with no lasting fruit to present to Him.

None of the people were asked how many devils they cast out our how many sermons they preached. They were asked only one question, “Did you learn to love.” Our greatest victories in this day will be our grace to discover that God is love and express that love to a lost and misguided generation. It will be a fundamental part of the last-days harvest.

15. This is the Day Marking the Beginning of Creative Miracles in America. This Shall be a Year of Great Deliverance for Those who are Troubled in Mind and Cry out for Mercy.

The LORD has opened His armory and has brought forth the weapons of His indignation, for it is a work of the Lord GOD of hosts in the land of the Chaldeans -Jeremiah 50:25

Heaven’s “storehouse” to which we are now given greater access is a prophetic portrayal of the divinely powerful weapons that have been provided for us through Christ’s sufferings and more importantly His resurrection. It is resurrection life that He desires to delegate. In this spiritual armory are mantles of spiritual authority and power as well as great ministries of healing and creative miracles that will result in restored limbs and organs.

Days of divine visitation are clearly marked with the miraculous. The Latter Rain revival that was initiated in 1946 is remembered as one of the most significant expressions of God’s miracle working power recorded in modern church history. Many historians say it was the greatest outpouring of power since the early church.

We are privileged in this generation with numerous audio and video recordings of those meetings. We are able to learn from the men and women who were the instruments of God’s power and how they were able to steward God’s supernatural dimension.

26 Creative Miracles

Many notable miracles are on record, but one of the most significant occurred March, 1959 in the ministry of A. A. Allen. It was the account of a small boy who received 26 creative miracles in one service. I have been personally privileged to meet and talk with a precious sister who witnessed this outstanding event in Birmingham, AL.

R. W. Schambach was A. A. Allen’s worship leader at the time and also shares his eye-witness account of this miracle and his role in it. He relates how the mother of this young boy came to him on the last day of a week of healing meetings. This faithful mother had traveled from her home in Knoxville, TN to Birmingham because of her desire for the young boy to be supernaturally healed. That was his only hope since the best of the medical field had given up on him and gave no hope for survival.

The young four year old lad was born with 26 major diseases. He was blind, deaf, and dumb and his tongue protruded from his mouth and rested upon his chin. His arms and legs were deformed and twisted against his body and totally useless. He had no feet and remained curled in a fetal position from the day he was born. He had no male organs and every other major organ in his body suffered from numerous complications. Most doctors said that he would not live to his first birthday. Nevertheless, he was now four years old and in desperate need of God’s touch.

The young mother had been to every service for a week and the final day had come. In those days the ministers used prayer cards to determine who would be prayed for. Unfortunately, her prayer card was never called. She personally went to brother Schambach and asked if he would help get her son to the man of God for prayer. Brother Schambach promised that he would, but that never became necessary since the Lord had other plans.

When the service began, A. A. Allen took an offering that challenged the people into the supernatural realm of faith. As a gesture of faith, this young mother was the first to put $20 in the offering. Like the widow woman in the Lord’s ministry, it was all that she had. As the man of God began the service, he stopped his preaching and announced that he was going into a spiritual vision.

In his vision, Allen found himself in the maternity ward of a hospital where a small boy was just born. He saw the doctors pronounce a death sentence on the lad with 26 major illnesses. He then watched in his vision as the mother entered an old Ford automobile and drove to that very meeting in Birmingham, AL. He then called for the mother to bring the young boy for prayer.

When he offered the prayer of faith, R. W. Schambach testifies that he saw with his own eyes, the power of God overshadow the boy. First, the tongue of the little fellow corrected itself into his mouth. Next, pools of light entered his eye sockets and beautiful brown eyes were supernaturally created. He then watched his bones begin to snap and crack as his legs and arms came into their perfect place.

Then, Schambach watched as the two legs that had no feet suddenly began to change as feet were supernaturally created for the young boy right before the 3000 in attendance. All of his internal organs were perfectly restored. Finally, the tongue of the young lad was supernaturally allowed to speak his first words…Mamma.

I have personally spoken with a wonderful 80-year-old woman who was in the meeting and witnessed this event for herself. This is a token of the kind of creative miracles we are promised in this generation.

16. This is the Day that the Evangelists Who Have Sowed in Tears Shall Come Forth in Abundant Harvest Waving Their Sheaves Before Them Reaping Joy.

Sowing righteousness will reap a harvest of salvation. Our call is to sow spiritually in uprightness that is birthed from a posture of right standing with God. In so doing, we will reap according to mercy and lovingkindness. We are entering a season of harvest. It will be a harvest of “harvesters.”

Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. — Psalms 126:5-6

What and how we sow will determine our harvest. We are to break up uncultivated ground outside the four wall of the institutional church. This will result in a wonderful harvest of gifted people who will be very fruitful in the Kingdom. They already have a zeal for spiritual things, if only misguided. Once they discover the truth, all their devotion and enthusiasm will be for Jesus.

Much prayer and sacrifice has already been invested in this day. Many seeds of revival and spiritual outpouring have been sown. We will now become the beneficiaries of a great spiritual inheritance and reap from “vineyards” that we did not plant. Even so, those who sow and those who reap will rejoice together. Jesus said in John 4,

Do you not say, “There are yet four months, and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields, that they are white for harvest. Already he who reaps is receiving wages and is gathering fruit for life eternal; so that he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. For in this {case} the saying is true, “One sows and another reaps — John 4:35-37

Seeds sown in prior generations have come to a place of maturity. Commissions, mantles and spiritual gifts can be apprehended that were previously worn by pioneers and leaders of the past.

17. This is the Day That Those Who Exchange Their Mind/Soul Power for Holy Spirit Power Will Find Their Spiritual Barrenness Come to an End and Their Lives Will Become Fruitful in the Kingdom.

When the Holy Spirit came to earth on the Day of Pentecost in the first century church, the spirit of anti-Christ was released as well. These two spirits have run concurrently throughout history and are beginning to come to a maturity that will prepare this generation for the great end-time battle. This will be the scenario outlined by the Lord Himself in Matthew 13:37 when he explained that,

The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man, and the field is the world; and as for the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil one; and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the end of the age; and the reapers are angels — Matthew 13:37-39

“Sons of the evil one” will function by the spirit of anti-Christ and possess awesome power that appeals to the mind, will, and emotions of man rather than to his spirit. The Lord is providing a covering and canopy for the “sons of the Kingdom” who are being provoked by God’s Spirit, while this counterfeit spirit is being uncovered and openly displayed to them.

Witchcraft, sorcery and the control spirit motivated through worldly wisdom will emerge with great maturity and power in this age. The “sons of the Kingdom” must likewise mature to the place that we begin to “taste the God Word of God and the Power of the age to come” and release the reality of Christ in us, the hope of glory.

This is for the land “beyond the Jordan” as we cross over into the day of promise. Illumination will be coming to those who have formally embraced traditionalism and religious structures and many will now embrace His divine light.

18. This is the Day Great Inspired Teachers Shall Expound on the Written Word by the Spirit of Truth and set People Free in Unprecedented Ways.

The term “inspired teachers” is one taken from both Old and New Testament scriptures generally referencing leaders or priests who receive their understanding of the Word “through a revelation of Jesus Christ.” (Galatians 1:12)
The Apostle Paul stated that his discovery of Truth came not by the teaching of man nor by reading a book, but by a divine revelation of Jesus Christ. Supernaturally gifted teachers present truth that will begin to sanctify believers according to John 17:17.

The “inspired teachers” will promote sanctification within the church that makes her a suitable dwelling place for the fullness of God’s Spirit. His manifest Presence will empower believers to become partakers of His divine nature and His Holy character.

All of these purposes, related to the inspired priest or teacher, are identified with the true biblical definition of discipleship. That is, teaching believers to become the Lord’s “friends.” This form of discipleship will also lead the church into the full revelation and realization of Galatians 5:22-23.

The main assignment of the “inspired teachers” will be to Biblically reveal the Lord’s requirements for the end-time church to taste the good Word of God and prepare her to walk in Kingdom power. (Hebrews 6:5) It will now become essential for God’s leadership to be partakers of His divine nature. With this reality we bear the fruit of the Spirit as a prerequisite for the release and impartation of God’s power gifts and His highest callings necessary for end-time ministry.

Through their spiritual revelation of the written Word, the 21st century leadership model will more fully acquaint the church with the necessary steps of preparation and consecration needed to be viable participants in God’s end-time plan.

The ministry of inspired teachers can best be understood in the prophecies of Ezekiel and his identification of the righteous Zadok Priesthood. He recorded that this loyal company was granted the privilege of ministering to the Lord because of their devotion. He said,

The Levitical priests, the sons of Zadok, who kept charge of My sanctuary when the sons of Israel went astray from Me, shall come near to Me to minister to Me; and they shall stand before Me to offer Me the fat and the blood,” declares the Lord GOD.

They shall enter My sanctuary; they shall come near to My table to minister to Me and keep My charge…Moreover, they shall teach My people the difference between the holy and the profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean — Ezekiel 44:15-16,23

Inspired teachers who have encountered the Teacher will bring to the Church revelatory truth that will separate the precious from the profane and the clean from the unclean. Great mysteries of the Kingdom are reserved in God’s heart to be examined and explored by the end-time Church.

19. This is the Day that the Holy Spirit Will Anoint People to Strengthen Feeble Knees and Downcast Hearts to a Healthy Place and They Shall Know Joy and Gladness Again.

Our directive is to create an atmosphere for people to encounter the Lord and also address issues of the soul that have kept us from divine destiny. The Lord is expressing His desire to release a revelatory realm that allows people to obtain a vision of destiny and the “hope of our calling” that dispels hopelessness and injects gladness of heart. God’s Spirit spoke through Isaiah saying,

Encourage the exhausted, and strengthen the feeble. Say to those with anxious heart, “Take courage, fear not. Behold, your God will come with vengeance; the recompense of God will come, but He will save you. Then the eyes of the blind will be opened and the ears of the deaf will be unstopped. Then the lame will leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute will shout for joy. For waters will break forth in the wilderness and streams in the Arabah.

The scorched land will become a pool and the thirsty ground springs of water; in the haunt of jackals, its resting place, grass becomes reeds and rushes. A highway will be there, a roadway, and it will be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean will not travel on it, but it will be for him who walks that way, and fools will not wander on it — Isaiah 36:3-8

Jacob had such an experience in Genesis 28 and it impacted the remainder of his life. The Heavens opened and he was told of his destiny and that of his descendants. He discovered the Lord’s presence and Heaven’s host assigned to co-labor with man. Eventually, his nature was changed and he entered the destiny revealed in this experience.

Every leader we are in relationship with recognizes this great need in the western church. Our written and spoken messages are built around this reality. Even so, as we have traveled the nation, we discovered an epidemic of hopelessness in the western church that the Lord intends to reverse. Spiritual vision from the revelatory realm of Heaven provides hope derived by a revelation of our calling and destiny; hope dispels hopelessness. That is the promise of Ephesians 1:17-18.

It is not difficult to discern our present condition. Nevertheless, I personally desire to be a loyal servant like the ones who ventured into the land of promise and returned with a faithful report in the days of Moses. Yes, there are giants in the land, but God is able to empower us to overcome. This impartation will strengthen our feeble knees and encourage our downcast hearts.

Life to Dry Bones

The prophet Ezekiel was taken to a valley of dry bones. He was not instructed to condemn them, but to prophesy life to them. He said,

I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they came to life and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army. Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel; behold, they say, “Our bones are dried up and our hope has perished. We are completely cut off.’ “Therefore prophesy and say to them, “Thus says the Lord GOD, “Behold, I will open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves, My people; and I will bring you into the land of Israel.

That is our hope and expectation. We desire to breathe life into dry bones and begin to see them take shape and form a troop of those who overcome.

Though the western church may look like a valley of dry bones, I believe the Lord sees her prophetically as an exceedingly great army. We are convinced our nation and the western church has an incredible destiny yet to be fulfilled. When people are given a glimpse of their individual role in that destiny, it transforms them and sets them on the course to repentance and the impartation of the Christ-like nature.

They see the cause of God and are forever changed and have the joy of their salvation restored. We are seeing that happen now. Strongholds of hopelessness, despair, depression and other oppressive mind-sets will be overcome when God’s “Zoe” life is breathed into this army.

20. This is the Day that “Golden Voices” Shall be Heard in the Body of Christ and Songs of the Lord Shall Come Forth in Power.

The Church should look forward to mightily anointed songs that have never been heard on earth to emerge from worshipers whose voices have been anointed and prepared for this day. The treasures of wisdom and knowledge hidden in Christ are accessible to be released through psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Revelations 15:3-4 records that,

they sang the song of Moses, the bond servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and marvelous are Your works, O Lord God, the Almighty; Righteous and true are Your ways, King of the nations! Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy; for ALL THE NATIONS WILL COME AND WORSHIP BEFORE YOU, FOR YOUR RIGHTEOUS ACTS HAVE BEEN REVEALED

With these songs, there will be a spirit of deliverance that accompanies the new sound. Many people will be set free from addictions, oppressions and infirmity simply by apprehending God’s heart in this atmosphere of anointing that will be created by this fresh deposit of worship. They will be songs of deliverance!

This new sound will not only remember the works of Christ, it will produce them. It will be revelatory truth that eye has not yet seen nor ear heard. These new sounds have not yet entered into the heart of man. Nevertheless, the Spirit of Christ is searching the depths of His heart to bring these realities into this present day.

21. This is the Day for the Shining Forth of His Glory; The Radiance of His Beams to Behold.

We are living in a day when God’s Glory will be displayed. The Lord will express joy in His saints and release strength for the battle and hope to displace hopelessness. The prophet Habakkuk expressed a day of visitation that would convey both the Lord’s power and His glory. He prophesied that,

His splendor covers the heavens, and the earth is full of His praise. His radiance is like the sunlight; He has rays flashing from His hand, and there is the hiding of His power. Before Him goes pestilence, and plague comes after Him — Habakkuk 3:3-5

Beams of spiritual light emerging from the Lord’s hands are a symbol for the demonstration of His great power. In a day of visitation, God will execute His justice. This portion of His attributes will produce a season of deliverance and blessing for the righteous and judgment on unrighteousness. He said,

You went forth for the salvation of your people, for the salvation of your anointed. You struck the head of the house of the evil to lay him open from thigh to neck. Selah. – Habbakkuk 3:13

To see the revelation of His glory and power, we must be partakers of His nature and convey the attributes that capture His attention. Perhaps no man is history experienced this more than Moses. There were portions of Moses’ nature that pleased God and qualified him for his destiny.

Even so, the apostle Paul challenges New Testament believers to press in to God and experience all that Moses did and more. Moses knew the Lord face-to-face and friend-to-friend under a covenant sealed with the blood of bulls and goats. How much more should we in the covenant sealed with the very blood of Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 3:7-8)

The Example of Moses

As the leader of Israel, Moses, described in Scripture as the meekest man in the land, stood on the brink of inheriting long awaited promises. Nevertheless, to his credit, he was not satisfied to simply experience God’s promises, he also longed for God’s presence. This clearly implies the unwise ability to walk in our prophetic promises without the Lord’s presence.

Furthermore Moses’ heart was not satisfied with the Lord’s promise and presence; he also desired to see His glory. These should also be our expectations and longings. As the Lord passed before Moses in His goodness, He declared,

the Lord! the Lord! A God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving-kindness and truth, keeping mercy and loving-kindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but Who will by no means clear the
guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children, to the third and fourth generation — Exodus 34:6-7 (Amplified)

It is the very nature of God to be filled with kindness and truth. These virtues will position us to experience the beams of Heavenly light that proceeds from His hands to display great exploits to His glory.

The Earth Groaning

At 11:21 p.m. on the evening of Atonement, Bob heard the Spirit say, “the earth is out of harmony because mankind is out of harmony with God.”
As a result of man’s overall rebellion and anti-christ spirit, there will be extreme weather patterns now and in the days to come. There will be extreme cold, excessive heat, intense drought and severe flooding. The shaking will be in this fashion! Our counsel is to turn our hearts to God in repentance and call upon His heart of mercy. Isaiah said,

My soul yearns for You O Lord in the night, yes, my spirit within me seeks You earnestly; for [only] when Your judgments are in the earth will the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God) — Isaiah 26:9

The Bible declares that the heaven of Heavens belongs to God but the earth has been delegated into the hands of man. Dominion of the earth was first entrusted to Adam. Unfortunately, that heritage was lost in the Garden of Eden. The spirit of this world has usurped the true spiritual authority originally given to mankind.

Our kinsman redeemer has made the way for this to be reconciled and returned to the sons of God. Even so, mankind continues to function out of harmony with God’s nature and character. As a result, the earth itself is out of harmony and groans for the revelation of God’s sons. The “sons of the Kingdom” must emerge in this last days outpouring!

Until then, extreme weather patterns will continue to prevail. Outrageous cold systems will be prevalent in certain areas while scorching heat waves burden others. Some regions will be smitten with drought while others are overshadowed with flooding. These seemingly contradictory patterns will be even more pronounced in the coming season. This will be part of the Lord shaking all things that can be shaken.

The Model for Harvest

We are now entering a season of harvest. Overall it is the last days harvest but it will come in multiple waves. The first harvest will be a harvest of harvesters, followed by a season of intense training and equipping. Following that, the greatest harvest of souls throughout the earth will transpire.

Those individuals who have yielded to the preparation process will experience the transformation of their perceived wilderness into a flourishing garden with pools of spiritual water. For them, a season of breakthrough will be accomplished that makes them a spiritual habitation of God’s presence.

In essence, there will be a deposit of the “spirit to overcome” delegated to believers who have yielded their hearts and soulswith unwavering desperation for the person of Jesus. Heaven’s empowerment will be granted to experience individual breakthrough. This grace will allow us to plant spiritual fields and vineyards that will produce bountiful harvests.

Many Christians have seemingly been ruled over by cruel taskmasters. This season has been allowed only to produce Godly character in us so that we can faithfully steward this responsibility. Joseph is a perfect type of this experience.

Joseph was God’s chosen vessel who went through a season of extreme pruning. It was as though the enemy was allowed to run rampant throughout his life in order to destroy him. Nevertheless, the entire process was permitted only to drive Joseph directly into his divine destiny.

Each stroke of the adversary only carried Joseph one step closer to the purpose for which he was born. The process itself transformed Joseph from an immature young man with significant spiritual gifting, into a prince with great spiritual authority. In a single day he was promoted from the dungeon to the throne. That is how quickly our transformation can take place.

The Lord is now releasing a spiritual installment to break the yoke of oppression to produce liberty and freedom. As with Job He is saying,

If you return to the Almighty, you will be restored; if you remove unrighteousness far from your tent, and place your gold in the dust, and the gold of Ophir among the stones of the brooks, then the Almighty will be your gold and choice silver to you — Job 22:23-25

When this transpires, we will learn how to release God’s dominion in the Earth. The planet itself will respond to God’s voice expressed through this company. Then,

You will have your delight in the Almighty, and lift up your face to God. You will make your prayer to Him, he will hear you, and you will pay your vows. You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways — Job 22:26-28

Those that cry out to Him for emancipation will find the Lord making their wilderness into a garden with pools of water. In that place of habitation, this overcoming company will sow fields and plant vineyards that will bring forth an abundance of fruitfulness.

The Lord will shatter the yokes of oppression allowed to rest upon many who will now emerge as God’s friends. “Taskmasters” who have ruled over the righteous wickedly as a tormenting spirits, will be sent into the wilderness where there is no rain.

The Spirit of Deliverance

The Holy Spirit said, “The poor and needy He will deliver from their afflictions and barren women shall have many children. The upright shall see it and be glad for it will shut the mouth of iniquity.”

Heaven’s declaration for this season is to deliver the poor and needy from their natural and spiritual afflictions. This directive is applicable to both natural needs of the poor and the distresses of the spiritually poor in heart.

Great emphasis will be placed upon our ministry to the poor. As we respond to this hardship, a breakthrough anointing will be released to help carry us into the destiny ordained for this generation. The Bible declares,

[Rather] is not this the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every [enslaving] yoke? Is it not to divide your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house–when you see the naked, that you cover him, and that you hide not yourself from [the needs of] your own flesh and blood?

Then shall your light break forth like the morning, and your healing (your restoration and the power of a new life) shall spring forth speedily; your righteousness (your rightness, your justice, and your right relationship with God) shall go before you [conducting you to peace and prosperity], and the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard — Isaiah 58:6-8

Part of the impartation granted to us will be the spirit of deliverance to free many within the church from the spiritual afflictions that have hindered them. It seems that many Christians and churches have experienced a season of barrenness. Nevertheless, our obedience to these spiritual directives will produce many offspring.

As this takes place, the upright of heart will see it and rejoice at the victory. This praise and thanksgiving will “shut the mouth” of iniquity that has crippled the church. Therefore, we are called to diligently praise the Lord because of His intervention with man. Our hearts cry should be “the Lord is good and His mercy endures forever.”

So diligently praise the Lord because of His mercy and loving-kindness; let the righteous say so in praise and thanksgiving. Amen.

Table of the Lord

At 4:35 AM Bob was taken into a spiritual vision. In it he saw the Lord’s Table set before him. On the table there were three things: Fish, Bread and Wine.

King David once said,

Thou dost prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; Thou hast anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows — Psalms 23:5

The fish, bread and wine represent tokens of divine grace and impartation available to us in this season. Christian symbolism is simply defined as the utilization of actions or objects to represent truths of the Christian faith. They are given as a reminder of those truths or an effective way of spiritually connecting them with an underlying truth or action.

The symbols of “sacramental fish with wine and bread” represented the communion and the last supper in Christian art and His great power for multiplication.

Fish

The fish is a token of His divine grace. In early church history, the symbol of a fish was used as an insignia for individuals who were believers in Jesus Christ as the Messiah. The early apostles were often referred to as “fishers of men.” Therefore, followers of the Christian faith were identified as Pisciculi, which is a Latin term denoting “fish.”

The symbol of a fish was relatively easy to draw and was therefore used as a password during days of extreme Roman persecution. If two strangers met and were unsure of the others faith, then one would draw an arc while the other would finish the other side of the arc to form the symbol of a fish. This allowed the other to know that they were both believers in Jesus Christ.

The “fish” therefore has been adopted in prophetic symbolism as an emblem of grace. Believers in the Lord Jesus are partakers of his divine grace. Therefore, for us, the fish is a prophetic portrayal of personal grace released to individuals for their spiritual journey.

Naturally, as with many others symbols, our enemy has attempted to pervert this image by using it in Greek mythology and various forms of paganism. Nevertheless, history clearly records that it was adopted as a symbol of Christian faith in the grace of God.

In Bob’s vision he was eating the fish as a picture of great-grace presently being extended. As a confirmation to this revelation, my wife Wanda heard an audible voice speak to her in a dream on the morning of Atonement. The voice said that we would understand in this season what it means to be “covered” better than at any time in our lives.

With that expression came the understanding that God’s grace has so completely covered us that our mistakes, failures, miscalculations, presumptions, carelessness and missteps have been eradicated by the blood of Jesus.

It is as though we can turn a new page and start fresh and anew and live on a higher standard. When she shared this with me that morning, I felt the spiritual impartation that went with it. The few times we have communicated this in meetings; there has been an accompanying grace to liberate people from shame and guilt. The Lord has made us to be guiltless!

In one of the first visitations that Roland Buck had in 1978 from the angel Gabriel, he was instructed by the Heavenly messenger for a considerable time concerning this very principal. Gabriel actually drew on a piece of paper a diagram that illustrates how our lives are viewed by the Father through the blood of Jesus. Our Savior has made us blameless. That is a great revelation.

Bread

There are multiple applications to the use of bread in biblical symbolism. Primarily, it is used to denote the Lord Jesus Christ as the “bread of life.”

In the same way that bread satisfies the natural body, so also does faith in the Lord as Savior Bread satisfies, strengthens and blesses us with the sustenance of life. As someone once said, it is not enough just know about the Lord, but to partake of Him. A baker would die of starvation in the midst of his breads, cakes and pies if he did not consume them. In like fashion, we must share in the Heavenly bread and become a living expression of Him. Literally, we are become what we eat.

On the night before His crucifixion, the Lord instituted communion using bread and wine as emblems of his body and blood. In 1 Corinthians 10: 17, bread is also representative of God’s church on earth. As each loaf contains many grains, so also the Church is made up of many members.

Wine

Wine is principally recognized as a representation of life provided for us in the blood of Jesus Christ. The Bible points out that “life is in the blood.” Our spiritual DNA is contained in the Lord’s blood. The life that He lived on the earth is representative of the one to be epitomized by this generation’s “sons of the Kingdom.”

Wine is to be taken as a type of the new life which God has placed within us. The Lord does not put new wine in old wineskins. Instead, he makes us a new creation and containers of His new wine.

Finally, wine is also a symbol of joy and spiritual stimulation generated by faith in God when we receive blessings we do not deserve. Isaiah 55:1 says,

Ho! Every one who thirsts, come to the waters; and you who have no money come, buy and eat. Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.

Likewise, Proverbs 9 uses wine as a typical representation of the sweet experiences of those who become painfully aware of their own weakness, but share in God’s supernatural empowerment and His divine wisdom.

At the Table

In his vision Bob found himself at the Lord’s Table with these three items set before him. Initially, he was allowed to partake of the fish, which symbolically depicts our present position of experiencing supernatural grace. Then he was allowed to reach for the bread, which is the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Our grace in this day is to begin to apprehend the full measure of Heaven’s revelation of the Lord as the exalted Overcoming King. Furthermore, we will begin to experience the promise of Isaiah 30: 26 saying,

The light of the moon will be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be seven times brighter like the light of seven days, on the day the LORD binds up the fracture of His people and heals the bruise He has inflicted — Isaiah 30:26

The bread and wine are typical of communion. This prophetic expression is highlighting the Lord’s desire to “bind the fracture of His people” and produce a common-union or spiritual unity among many within the church. Clearly, unity of the brethren is a fundamental aspect of the 21st century church model.

True unity is discovered when we become Christ-like. Christ being formed in us is the true forum for spiritual unity among brethren. To the extent we reflect the Lord’s nature and character will we experience spiritual unity.

Stimulation by Revelation

The wine is representative of spiritual power generated by revelation of the Living Bread. It produces the joy of the Lord. When we partake of the Bread it prepares us for the wine. The Lord is going to give us great delight and exhilaration at the revelation of the surpassing greatness of His power toward those who believe.

The more fully we understand the working of His mighty strength demonstrated through believers, the more capable we become at accessing the Heavenly realm containing our inheritance. According to Ephesians 1:3, our spiritual heritage and blessings are located in “heavenly places.” When we apprehend our destiny and privileges in Christ through the revelation of the Heavenly Bread, it produces great stimulation, mobilization and empowerment.

A Confirming Dream

When a message is of particular importance, a confirming word is often given to others as a double witness of its present application. On the evening of Atonement, my wife Wanda had a dream that was very similar in nature.

In it she and others were brought into a glorious banqueting room. A table was prepared for the banquet that contained vast amounts of food ranging from sweets and delicacies of little nutritional value to gourmet dishes with very healthy benefits.

Intuitively, she knew that will she was to be very selective in her choice so that maximum benefit could be derived from the things she ate. She passed over the deserts and chose only healthy foods.

Following the meal, a word of counsel was released concerning the banquet. The vast choices represent the range of decisions we have concerning our level of maturity. According to the apostle Paul, strong meat is for the mature. The deserts and sweet delicacies are wonderful to the taste but have little strengthening value. We will become what we eat.

She was also told in the dream that this parable had both natural and spiritual application. Not only are we called to be spiritually strong, but also in our natural bodies. There is a present call for spirit filled believers in Jesus Christ to present their bodies in a more healthy way. We will need our strength in the coming battle.

Filling the Earth

In Bob’s experience he actually saw measures of God’s glory released when the bread and wine were consumed. This is also pointing to our invitation to begin to fill the earth with the knowledge of God’s glory. These are not directives for some far distant day, but for this present season.

The wine is a picture of the power of redemption through the Lord’s blood. Unity, joy, and gladness of hear will be experienced in the body of Christ this year and the season to come.

Wine portrays the stimulation we receive by the revelation of Jesus Christ; the revelation of the Heavenly Bread. This will not simply be a season to talk about our heritage, but to experience it.

Simplicity and Purity

The Lord is going to prepare a table for us and it will consist of that which is good, beneficial and healthy to our spirit, soul, and body. When Daniel and his three friends were led into captivity, they refused the delicacies of Babylon. Instead, they insisted upon the diet that was sanctified according to God’s Word. Daniel refused the intoxication of Babylon and chose the “simplicity and purity of devotion.”

Although many Christians merely share in the Lord’s Table as a ritual or symbolic memorial, the reality is that there is much more of a spiritual impartation than most realize. When we genuinely remember the Lord’s resurrected body, and bless the bread and wine accordingly, then a spiritual dynamic is released that produces resurrection life that quickens our mortal bodies.

In this season, the joy of the Lord will be our strength. We are the Lord’s joy and He will strengthen us. We have been eating the fish representing God’s grace, but now we will begin to see the illumination of the Heavenly bread. This will bring great joy to the Father.

The Open Portal

Bob was taken through a spiritual portal and saw a cloud of Glory that was so white that it seemed blue. There is an abiding Glory that will be entrusted to mature believers to initiate this next installment of Heaven’s blueprint.

A “portal” is simply another term for a spiritual door. In Johns Patmos Island visions he saw a door standing open in Heaven and he heard God’s voice proceeding from it. That is a spiritual portal or access that was granted to him and reflects our present invitation for this season. Revelations 4:1 says,

AFTER THIS I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice which I had heard addressing me like [the calling of] a war trumpet said, Come up here, and I will show you what must take place in the future — Revelations 4:1

The word “door” in this passage is the Greek term “thura” and defined by Strongs dictionary as “a portal or entrance that allows an opening or closure and can be literal or figurative. It is translated door or gate.”

We are offered divine access to come up higher in God for a fresh revelation of His Glory that will transform us and cause us to reflect His light. It is the light of righteousness! Like John, we are hearing His voice say, “come up here.”

When the righteous walk into this abiding Glory it will cause them to be illuminated with Glory. It will literally produce a shining in them that will dispel realms of darkness and invite many into the knowledge of Christ.

Our portal or divine access will be granted to us through the realization of the spiritual attributes depicted in the fish, bread and wine. This will be divine grace that allows us to partake of the Lord as the Bread of Life with the wine of revelation that makes it experiential.

This spiritual door functions like a well. However, instead of it descending, it ascends into a Heavenly place from which we draw on supernatural resources.

Obtaining Heaven’s Blueprints

Throughout the Church, we as leaders have attempted to formulate strategies, plans and agendas. Our intent has not been evil, for the most part, but simply to utilize our natural thinking to facilitate Heaven’s plan.

Our challenge is to now receive our strategies, plans and agendas directly from Heaven’s treasury room that harbors supernatural wisdom and knowledge hidden in Christ. There is an open door being granted to the Colossians 2 treasury room that contains everything we need to achieve our mandate! Paul prayed,

that their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God’s mystery, that is Christ Himself in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge – Colossians 2:2-3

The most encouraging aspect of this pledge is the experiential nature by which it is achieved. Though we clearly have the mandate to win the lost, heal the sick and deliver the oppressed, our most important directive is to know the Lord intimately.

Moses was not content with God’s promise, he insisted on His presence and the revelation of His glory. In 2003, I was graced to go through a spiritual door like the one Bob saw, and visit the “treasury room” of olossians 2. This is a brief synopsis of what I saw:

“When my eyes opened to this vibrant spiritual realm, I discovered that I was standing in a treasury room of Heaven. Intuitively, I knew that I had been given access to a chamber containing objects of such incredible value that it would be impossible fully to understand their worth. It looked very similar to a great king’s treasury vault.

However, the objects of unfathomable value in this room were not golden goblets or precious jewels. Rather they were scrolls, parchments, ancient books, and records. These contained the treasures of wisdom and knowledge hidden in Christ Jesus. It must have been what Paul was envisioning when he penned:

That is, Christ Himself, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. — Colossians 2:2-3

The large room was filled to capacity with incredible artifacts, including paintings and architectural blueprints, even documents containing the secrets of the universe.

The prophet Daniel prophetically identified this generation and described it as the “end of time” (Daniel 12:4). He foresaw and recognized a time when spiritual knowledge would increase and great mysteries of the Kingdom would be revealed. Many loyal saints are now calling upon the Lord to show great and mighty things. We desire to appreciate fully the end-time mysteries of the Kingdom.

This is the Lord’s counsel,

Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know – Jeremiah 33:3

We are clearly instructed to call upon the Lord with the expectation of being heard. When we do, we will be given the ability to receive precise, clear understanding from Him. We will perceive and embody prominent and awesome mysteries of His Kingdom that are presently unknown. Then the blueprint of Heaven for this long-awaited day will be unveiled.”

White and Blue

The Lord has opened a Heavenly door like the one revealed to John on the island of Patmos, and Daniel while in Babylonian captivity. It is divine access being granted to the righteous who have heeded the messages of preparation over the past season.

Daniel saw God as the Ancient of Days and said,

I kept looking Until thrones were set up, and the Ancient of Days took His seat; His vesture was like white snow and the hair of His head like pure wool. His throne was ablaze with flames, its wheels were a burning fire. A river of fire was flowing and coming out from before Him; thousands upon thousands were attending Him, and myriads upon myriads were standing before Him; the court sat, and the books were opened – Daniel 7:9-10

Likewise, John beheld the Lord as the Just Judge and recorded,

Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands; and in the middle of the lampstands {I saw} one like a son of man, clothed in a robe reaching to the feet, and girded across His chest with a golden sash. His head and His hair were white like white wool, like snow; and His eyes were like a flame of fire – Revelations 1:12-14

This will be the day of divine justice. There will be a reconciliation of the injustices that have been committed against God’s people throughout church history. Likewise, this balancing of the books will also transpire in our individual lives. The things that we think will take us under will actually be the mechanism that takes us over into God’s promise.

This will be a reflection of God’s Glory. God’s goodness will begin to empower His people for this next phase of His blueprint.

In Bob’s visions, he was able to look at this Heavenly portal and the tremendous gains we can achieve from it. His hearts cry in the vision was “is the portal going to remain open?” The response came back with authority and clarity saying “to the righteous!”

The righteous will begin to shine in the midst of darkness in ways we have never before seen in this generation. The upright will radiate with such purity that it will be a reflection of the Lord’s nature. This aspect of the revelation was represented by the white light Bob saw emanating from this Heavenly door. It was so white that it seemed blue. Therefore the colors for this year are white and blue.

The Lamb’s Wife

There is a present call for Godly women to take their post of duty with great spiritual authority. This is a spiritual picture of the bride of Christ emerging in this generation with power and relevance.

In large part, the bride of Christ has not been relevant to the needs of this present church age, especially in the west. This is a needy generation. Only the Lord functioning through His people can respond to the unique demands of this day.

As a spiritual picture of the emergence of Christ’s bridal company, many women will begin to exercise notable spiritual authority and change heavenly environments. The virtues resonant in the individuals to be utilized in this calling, will be humility and quietness of spirit. Isaiah prophesied,

For thus the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, has said, “In repentance and rest you will be saved, in quietness and trust is your strength — Isaiah 30:15

Godly women possessing inward maturity will be provided a spiritual key to unlock Heaven’s resources for this next season. The key is none other than the revelation of Jesus Christ. Keys to the Kingdom will be entrusted to many individuals as they were to Peter after his great revelation of the lordship of Christ. Matthew 16 records this exchange saying,

Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.

I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven” — Matthew 16:16-19

More and more, the bride of Christ will begin to understand our authority in the realm of the earth. We must begin to decree and proclaim Heaven’s expectation in the earth. It is by our agreement with the Lord that these things will begin to be revealed and established.

We have now entered the season of restoration that will ultimately see the Lord’s dominion re-established in the earth, as it was originally given to Adam. (See Acts 3:21) This will foster an accelerated process of progressive restoration over the next several years.

The earth will continue to experience great turmoil as this spiritual conflict rages. There will be many earthquakes, volcanoes, viruses & diseases, disruptions in the seas and other forms of natural calamities. God’s people must learn to take authority over these issues and exercise dominion.

Because mankind is out of harmony with God, so also is nature. The indications in nature are a reflection of the condition of mankind in general. Only those possessing God’s Spirit can begin to offer resistance or speak coverings of protection and grace. This is the condition that was predicted for the end-of-the-age.

This will cause the righteous to arise and shine because the Light of God has finally come to release God’s plan of redemption in a more full way. Although great darkness will permeate the earth, the righteous will begin to reflect Heaven’s illumination. Isaiah prophesied,

Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; but the LORD will rise upon you and His glory will appear upon you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising — Isaiah 60:1-3

No Good Thing Will He Withhold

In the next series of revelations, Bob audibly heard Psalms 84:11 being read. It declares,

For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD gives grace and glory; no good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly

This was an audible expression granted as the Lord’s great encouragement and promise. The most important aspect of this pledge is to understand what the Lord considers good. There is sometimes a vast difference between what we want and what we need.

As we go through the spiritual portal offered to us, we will more appropriately apprehend the Lord’s heartbeat. This will create transference from His heart into ours. It is time for man to meet with God! Then, our desire will be consistent with His purpose.

It is a Good Thing

1. It is a good thing to possess the holiness of God and His purity.

2. It is a good thing to have the “tares of our soul” extracted.

3. It is a good thing to be delivered from generational curses and fleshly encumbrances.
4. It is a good thing to experience communion with God and our brethren.

5. It is a good thing to declare the revealed Word of God; confirmed with miracles, signs and wonders.

6. It is a good thing to possess the fruit of the Spirit imparted through close encounters with Him.

7. It is a good thing to live by the faith of the Son of God.

To walk up-rightly is to obediently follow God’s written and spoken word. A righteous walk is determined more by who we are than what we do.

Many determine the measure of a person’s walk by how many demons are cast out or prophetic words given. Clearly, these are important, but Jesus also said we can do these things and not even know Him. (Matthew 7)

The most credible witness of a Godly walk is Christ being formed in us. We then become the reflection of His image and God’s representation on earth.

According to Your Faith

In the next installment of the revelations, Bob heard his name being called from a heavenly place. It was done in a way similar to what we read in the book of Genesis. The Lord had an appointment to walk with Adam in the cool of the day.

Adam was separated from God’s presence because of disobedience. However, the way has now been opened for us to return to the place of intimate fellowship and personal walk with the Lord. He is calling us to that place for this generation.

It is now time for God’s people to respond to our appointment with Him. We are being called to walk with Him in this “evening time” generation. In the visions the Lord then said, “according to your faith, let it be to you.” This phrase was taken from Matthew 9:29 saying,

Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.”

The gospel of John records one of the most revealing statements that captures the heart of this hungry generation. John 12:21 tells us that a delegation from the Greek community came to the disciples and said, “we wish to see Jesus.”

I can think of no phrase that more completely expresses our yearning than this one.
Fortunately, the Bible teaches in Psalms 42 that, “deep calls unto deep.” If there is an intense yearning within us, then there must be something to respond to that aspiration or we would not possess it. That principle has also been proven true through science.

If our body is hungry for a certain nutrient, then that nutrient must be available or we would not crave it. Likewise, if there is a burning and unwavering desperation to see Jesus and walk with him like John, Paul and others throughout history, then the opportunity must be available or we would not burn in our hearts for it.

Godly Jealousy

A great jealousy will arise among saints because of the witchcraft, psychic power and false signs and wonders that are being worked by the wicked to deceive many people. This false anointing is being given to the evil to capture the minds of our nation’s youth.

There is a desire and hunger for the supernatural that is evidence of the last-days generation. Unfortunately, it could be a very dangerous time for our youth to experiment in the realm of counterfeit spirits. The ultimate end will produce in them the spirits of rejection, self-rejection and feelings of diminished self-worth.

In the days of the early church, this spirit was found in the land of Samaria. Jesus had traveled through this region utilizing a revelatory anointing to awaken a specific woman into her divine destiny. She is known as “the woman at the well.” (John 4) It is interesting that it was a revelatory anointing that the Lord used to touch her heart. He told her everything she ever did.

After spending two days in Samaria, further demonstrating that same anointing, He departed from the region and proceeded to the cross. It is interesting to note that following this demonstration of the supernatural, a false prophetic ministry began to be embraced by those same people. The Bible says,

There was a man named Simon, who formerly was practicing magic in the city and astonishing the people of Samaria, claiming to be someone great; and they all, from smallest to greatest, were giving attention to him, saying, “This man is what is called the Great Power of God — Acts 8:9-10

However, the Lord had the final word. The Holy Spirit sent Philip into this same region with God’s genuine anointing to reap a harvest sown by Jesus. Instantly, the entire region was launched into a massive revival and awakening. Even Simon the sorcerer ended up in the prayer line to receive the true anointing because the counterfeit became so evident.

This is a picture of where we are in history. A tremendous revelatory anointing was demonstrated in our nation from 1946 until 1965. Now, many counterfeit ministries have emerged throughout our nation as “thieves and robbers” that openly display that realm through various media.

It is now time for the “Philips” to emerge to reap where others have sown. We will reap a harvest sown during the Latter Rain revival. This will make the false nature of all the various psychics, readers, and “life helpers” become much more evident. This will take place when we become jealous for God in the same way Phineas did in the days of Moses.

Many men and women are exhibiting genuine supernatural exploits, but from realms of darkness. Even so, this reality should provoke the righteous to jealously and incite us to press in to God for His empowerment to convey the Kingdom of Light and the power of the age to come.

The Jealousy of Phinehas

This loyal priest received a divinely issued covenant of peace because of his jealousy towards the Lord and his commitment to the Word.

Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “Phinehas the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, has turned away My wrath from the sons of Israel in that he was jealous with My jealousy among them, so that I did not destroy the sons of Israel in My jealousy.

“Therefore say, “Behold, I give him My covenant of peace; and it shall be for him and his descendants after him, a covenant of a perpetual priesthood, because he was jealous for his God and made atonement for the sons of Israel – Numbers 25:10-13

The Bible teaches that the Old Testament and God’s dealings with Israel are given to us as an example. The lives of the patriarchs and faithful men and women of old are adopted for our instruction in God’s ways and His dealings with man.

In like fashion, many will begin to emerge in this hour with the “anointing of Phinehas” and a covenant of peace. They will bear a heavenly “jealousy” and integrity by rightly dividing the Word of Truth without mixture or compromise.

This anointing will produce in many the “zeal of God” and a healthy ardor for the Spirit of Truth. Furthermore, they will not “shun to declare the whole counsel of God” nor tremble in fear while confronting false anointing. Their word will be confirmed with the miraculous and tremendous displays of His power (Acts 20.27)

False Signs and Wonders

We are living in the day that was prophesied many centuries ago. False signs and wonders are prevalent. Never has the need for discernment been greater! Many people will be deceived by the “Jannes and Jambres” leadership presently flourishing.

According to Deuteronomy 13, dreamers and visionaries who counsel rebellion against the God of Heaven are in serious jeopardy. Throughout Western society, multitudes of people are pursuing spirits of divination, the occult and New Age philosophy without any regard for the Lord Jesus. God’s Word tells us that those who enter the spiritual realm apart from Jesus, are robbers and thieves. It is the responsibility of God’s loyal people to confront this standard.

The fact that this false anointing is satisfying the hunger of millions of people ought to provoke us to jealousy to apprehend from the God of Truth the genuine anointing for the supernatural. That was certainly the model in the days of Moses and the early church. The Lord spoke of this confrontation through Paul saying,

Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, rejected in regard to the faith. But they will not make further progress; for their folly will be obvious to all, just as Jannes’ and Jambres’ folly was also — 2 Timothy 3:8-9

Admittedly, if someone came into our meeting and laid a wooden staff on the ground and it became a living serpent, people would be somewhat fascinated. Nevertheless, individuals anointed with God’s power must also emerge, as did Moses, with authority that devours the authority of our enemy. According to Exodus 7:11-12

Then Pharaoh also called for the wise men and the sorcerers, and they also, the magicians of Egypt, did the same with their secret arts. For each one threw down his staff and they turned into serpents. But Aaron’s staff swallowed up their staffs.

This is a picture of God’s supernatural dimension superseding that of the enemy. Our adversary has targeted this young generation with the ministry of false signs and wonders. Something has been woven into the DNA of people living in the 21st century that is drawn to things that are spiritual and supernatural. Even television programming reflects this reality.

This should not cause the Church to be dismayed at all. We are the carriers of God’s Spirit and He is the great Creator of Heaven and earth. All power and authority has been delegated to Him, which He now assigns to us. The primary objective is for us to emerge with the quality of character that can steward supernatural power without perverting it.

“Sons of the evil-one” are presently forerunning this supernatural dimension and the “sons of the Kingdom” must respond. That is the spiritual conflict depicted in Matthew 13. The apostle Paul discovered this struggle in his ministry and overcame it.

When they had gone through the whole island as far as Paphos, they found a magician, a Jewish false prophet whose name was Bar-Jesus, who was with the proconsul, Sergius Paulus, a man of intelligence. This man summoned Barnabas and Saul and sought to hear the word of God. But Elymas the magician (for so his name is translated) was opposing them, seeking to turn the proconsul away from the faith. — Acts 13:6-8

A righteous jealousy is being stirred within the Church to apprehend this aspect of our heritage. The genuine always reveals the counterfeit for what it is. Nevertheless, without the genuine to overshadow it, the counterfeit can be appealing to some.

Sons of Zion

The Sons of Zion will engage the sons of Greece who have received their revelations through sorcery and divination. The scriptures describe this as a “wizard” or sorcery spirit that the Holy Spirit will begin to identify and deal with through His anointed leadership.

For I will bend Judah as My bow, I will fill the bow with Ephraim. And I will stir up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece; and I will make you like a warrior’s word. Then the LORD will appear over them, and His arrow will go forth like lightning; and the Lord GOD will blow the trumpet, and will march in the storm winds of the south — Zechariah 9:13-14

Satan is targeting the youth of this generation with Greek philosophy and lying signs and wonders. This will produce vast delusion if we do not respond. As “Jannes and Jambres” withstood Moses, their “folly” became obvious in the presence of God’s deliverer. We must stand with boldness to confront our adversary in this arena and the same will result.

Psalm 107

There are many prophetic indications in Psalms 107 that help outline the coming season. We will include only a few perspectives from this Psalm of transition. There are many more that can be derived from this rich passage.

1. Psalms 107 makes it clear at the outset how important praise and thanksgiving will be in this season. The redeemed will begin to recognize their heritage more fully than ever before.

Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good, for His lovingkindness is everlasting. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so whom He has redeemed from the hand of the adversary

Give thanks unto the Lord always for His mercy and loving-kindness. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so for He will gather them this year from the four winds. For this year the desert wandering will come to an end and those who hunger and thirst shall be filled.

2. There will be a gathering of Kingdom minded people who will articulate and demonstrate the message and ministry of God’s Kingdom.

And gathered from the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south.

3. It is believed that this Psalm was constructed following the restoration of the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem. This further highlights the ministry of restoration that will be facilitated in these days.

4. There will be both natural and spiritual applications to this Psalm. Natural Israel will also begin to see the ministry of recovery facilitated, while the church experiences notable breakthrough.

Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble; He delivered them out of their distresses. He led them also by a straight way, to go to an inhabited city.

Cry to the Lord continually and He will deliver you out of all your distresses and straighten out your crooked ways and make them straight. There He will establish your homes.

5. It is interesting to note that one phrase is repeated four times in this Psalms: verses 8, 15, 21 and 31 all say, Let them give thanks to the LORD for His lovingkindness, and for His wonders to the sons of men!

6. There is an emphasis on the importance of praise and recognition for God’s goodness and Glory relative to His dealings with man. Gods justice will punish unrighteousness and distribute blessings to the righteous. That was the model demonstrated with Israel. See verses 10-22.

7. This Psalm again highlights the culmination of a season of discipline and the inauguration of a new day with great opportunity for advancement. This is emphasized in verses 12-14 saying,

Therefore He humbled their heart with labor; they stumbled and there was none to help. Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble; He saved them out of their distresses. He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death and broke their bands apart.

8. Praise the Lord always and thank Him for He will satisfy your soul with good things. Many have rebelled against the Lord and His Word and have been imprisoned. They have stumbled under hard labor and there was no help; cry out to the Lord this year! Repent and He will save you out of your distress. He will bring you out of darkness of soul and deliver you from death. Oh praise the Lord for His goodness!

9. He has opened the prison doors and set the captives free. Some remain in their captivity because of foolish decisions. They loathe every good thing that the Lord offers to them; when they cry out to the Lord with contrition, He will send forth His Word and heal them and deliver them when they repent.

10. Let us offer up sacrifices of thanksgiving and rehearse His good deeds with shouts of joy and singing. Some go down to the sea and travel in ships to carry His word to foreign lands. When the winds of adversity come and their courage begins to fail them; let them cry unto the Lord and He will deliver them.

Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and He brought them out of their distresses. He caused the storm to be still, so that the waves of the sea were hushed. Then they were glad because they were quiet, so He guided them to their desired haven.

11. He will quiet the storm and give His quiet whisper so their troubles are stilled, then they will be glad because the storm is calmed and they will arrive in the land the Lord has called them to evangelize. He changes rivers into a wilderness and springs of water into a thirsty ground; A fruitful land into a salt waste, because of the wickedness of those who dwell in it.

12. Oh praise Him because of His goodness for they will live to exalt Him and praise Him in the congregation and before the elders.

But He sets the needy securely on high away from affliction, and makes {his} families like a flock. The upright see it and are glad; but all unrighteousness shuts its mouth. Who is wise? Let him give heed to these things, and consider the lovingkindnesss of the LORD.
